The story of SEEKERS
Born in Phnom Penh in 2018, SEEKERS Spirits is the story of two enthusiasts, Tania UNSWORTH and Marco Julia EGGERT, who chose Cambodia as their land of exploration. Driven by a taste for adventure and the discovery of new flavors, they create modern spirits that reflect the authenticity and botanical diversity of the Mekong.
More than just a distillery, SEEKERS is an invitation to explore a territory, its ingredients, and its cultures.
A MEETING, A VISION
Tania & Marco, the SEEKERS spirit
Originally from London, Tania and Marco, who is from Barcelona, met in Southeast Asia and share a fascination for the region, its flavors, and its cultures.
Their ambition: to create contemporary spirits that celebrate local Mekong ingredients, combining artisanal know-how, innovation, and respect for the land.
FROM GARDEN TO GLASS
A botanical garden in the heart of the distillery
A few steps from the stills, Seekers cultivates its own botanical garden at the Spirit House in Phnom Penh. Pandan, Khmer basil, lemongrass, galangal, citrus fruits, and many other plants allow visitors to discover the botanical richness of Cambodia and the Mekong basin.
Some botanicals are grown directly in this educational garden, while others are sourced from partner producers in Cambodia and the Mekong region. This "garden-to-glass" approach places the origin of ingredients, biodiversity, and terroir at the heart of Seekers' identity.

International Reach
Since its inception, Seekers Spirits has distinguished itself in several international competitions, confirming the quality and originality of its creations.
The Seekers Mekong Dry Gin notably won a gold medal at the Hong Kong World Gin Masters Competition in 2018, followed by a silver medal at the Singapore World Spirits Competition in 2019. In 2020, the Seekers Mekong Gold Gin in turn distinguished itself with a gold medal at the China Wine & Spirits Awards.
These awards contribute to the reputation of Seekers and, more broadly, to the recognition of Cambodian expertise on the international spirits scene.
